Consultation services include advising local governments with respect to various public land requirements, the impact of rezoning, property acquisition, and leasing requirements.
Private sector consultation may involve feasibility studies, market projections and forecasts, and land use studies.
Due to training and knowledge, appraisers are often selected to undertake arbitration functions for rental, lease, and related property disputes.
 
 

Iain Hyslop, AACI, RI

Mr. Hyslop has been qualified for expert testimony in the Supreme Court of BC, Expropriation Compensation Board, Assessment Appeal Board, and private arbitration hearings.  Mr. Hyslop is a past president of the Okanagan Chapter, Appraisal Institute of Canada, a former member of the Board of Governors, Real Estate Institute of BC, and is currently a member of the National Appraisal Standards committee.  Qualified as an arbitrator, Mr. Hyslop has experience as an arbitrator in commercial rental matters.

David has been in practice as since 1997. His background includes experience as a paralegal  with a private law firm and later with the Ministry of Attorney General along with two years property acquisition and negotiation experience regarding the Vancouver Skytrain project.

Peter Wallace  MBA, AACI, P.App

Experienced in commercial banking and municipal land management Peter has been an appraiser since 2005. His municipal experience includes leasing and valuation of various unusual property types. From has banking background Peter has extensive knowledge of project analysis and financing

Grant Potter   AIC candidate member

A realtor since 1984 specializing in commercial sales and leasing Grant commenced the appraisal program in 2017 and is now working toward obtaining the AACI designation. Since 1994 Grant has been involved in the negotiation of numerous high value apartment and commercial building sales in Calgary.

Formerly a Legislative Services administrative assistant at the Municipality of Whistler Joanne has a range of responsibilities from general office management, assisting in report preparation, records & data base maintenance, research assistance and client relations.
